Who needs leprechauns, shamrocks and green beer when you can have the Northern lights dance above you on St. Patrick’s day!
After a beautiful sunny day with clear skies the Northern Lights were predicted to be a 9 out of 9 on St. Patrick’s day, and wow they did not disappoint. It was like Iceland knew what day it was and wanted to get in on the holiday fun with its own green outfit.
This was one of those moments in life where you just stood with your mouth open in awe and your eyes sparkling with happiness. I am pretty sure I said “this is amazing” like a hundred times. By far best Northern Lights I have ever seen.
And party they did! This St. Patrick’s day will forever be the night the sky danced green, an unforgettable evening.
