Amsterdam The Charmer

Hello hello!

We are back in Iceland after a wonderful trip to Amsterdam, which was as charming as I hoped it would be! The twins an I had an absolute blast in Amsterdam, enjoying local beers inside cozy cafes, strolling through the tulip fields, visiting museums, and stuffing our faces on a food tour, it was a trip packed full of fun!

So many wonderful things we were able to do on our trip and I am looking forward to sharing these with you all. But for now here are some teaser pictures of some of my favorite moments from the trip.

I wasn’t kidding about twinning in Amsterdam. The boys got asked several times if they were brothers or twins ha. I had a blast with these two though and our trip was full of non-stop laughs.

I was like a little kid giddy with excitement the day we headed out to the tulip fields! When I wrote down my European travel bucket list last year I never thought I would get to cross off visiting the tulip fields so soon, it was as beautiful as I thought it would be!

And when we weren’t walking the beautiful canals or strolling the tulip fields we were eating of course.

Really though, nothing could beat the beautiful canals.

The slow pace

What a beautiful post! We visited Amsterdam last August and we loved it! But we didn’t have enough time to visit the tulip fields… oh well, I guess we have to come back :)

  Ha not at all. I think it is crazy when people can’t tell them apart since they look so different to me! They got asked so many times in Amsterdam if they were twins ha.

I went years and years ago on a package tour with my mum and it was awful, everything that could go wrong did go wrong so I’ve always wanted to go back one day and do my own thing as there’s so many beautiful places to see and visit there xoxo

oh goodness, the most charming place… I don’t know! I fell in love with London the first time I went for sure. Loved every little thing about it. Love all the pictures - the flowers look so pretty! Hilarious about the guys being asked if they are brothers.

I can’t believe people actually asked if they were brothers, hahaha! I bet they have really funny stories to tell. Awww, I loved Amsterdam too. I would say that Ghent was also a big charmer for me. Beautiful canals too and impressive medieval architecture. The food tour sounds like a great idea. I’m so happy you had a great time. Happy Easter to you too!

  Haha I know, people kept staring at them to when they would walk past, almost like they needed to have a name tag saying yes I am a twin ha. From what I have seen Ghent looks incredibly charming, I will have to go there one day.

Did you get the apple pie from Winkel? It’s my absolute favorite :D These photos are making me so so excited. Somehow the stars have aligned and I am returning for a second time in the last half year this May. So excited to see your tips, hopefully there’s lots of stuff in there that I have never heard of :D

I was stranded in Amsterdam for a night on my way home from study abroad in Spain, but sadly the hotel the airline put me up in was WAY outside of town and I didn’t actually see any of it :/ it certainly looks charming though [and spring-y!] and I’d love to actually visit one day!

Gorgeous pics - you really captured the charm well. I’ve never been to the ‘dam, but I did think Brugge was pretty special. Any place where you can enjoy a good beer with some culture works for me.

Amsterdam is even more beautiful than I imagined!! Your pictures are beautiful! This might sound weird, because I’m an identical twin too, but I literally think it’s so COOL H has a twin! Like I can’t even explain why I’m so obsessed with it but it’s just so cool! X

  It is funny, twins have been around me my entire life. My parents best friends had twin boys, my sisters best friend is a twin, my college roommate is a twin and then I met H ha. It looks like I am just destined to be surrounded by twins :)
