10 Must Read Travel Blogs

Blogging is no joke, it takes hours upon hours of your time to write new content, promote your content, come up with new ideas, basically just keeping your site up and running is a lot of work! Sometimes it can be really overwhelming and I want to just step away. What keeps me coming back everyday?

The community.

The people I have met through blogging have been a support group that I turn to for advice, inspiration, and a little pick me up when expat life has gotten me down. The other week Kate shared her favorite travel blogs a few weeks ago and today I am using her idea to spread some more community love and share 10 of my many favorite expat blogs.

Guten Blog Y’all
An American living in Germany, Margo’s blog will captivated you with her stunning photos, informative and beautifully crafted travel guides, and her stories sharing her life in her charming German town Heidelberg.

To The Days Like This
Sammy is an Australian living in London and this girl is always on the move. From riding camels in Morocco to heading my way in Iceland this fall her blog is always full of awesome travel adventures.

Ink + Adventure
Jamie feeds my wanderlust with every post she shares of her adventures in Taiwan and her travels all over Asia. Currently writing a book Jamie’s writing draws you in, I can spend hours browsing through her archives!

Rhyme & Ribbons
Amanda is one of those bloggers that I am pretty sure we would be BFF if we lived near each other. She loves Harry Potter as much as I do and her delicious recipes are always pin worthy. Add in the adorable adventures her and her British man get up to around London, Amanda’s blog is a must follow!

The Lotus Creative
One of the first expat blogs I found was Kate’s. Not only does she share some awesome travel and blogging tips, it is a blog I can totally relate to and so often find myself nodding my head in agreement with her posts. And if your in need of a new blog design, Kate has you covered!

Let Us Wanderlust
Carly is from one of my favorite places, Australia! She just spent 6 months on a road trip across America and Canada with her fiance and her travel archives and travel tips are not to be missed! I love seeing different parts of Australia through the eyes of a local.

A Girl and Her Travels
Polly has showed me a whole other side of Russia and I love following along with her adventures. This girl doesn’t let travel slow her down, she has a new magazine Like a Local that I can’t wait to check out.

PRETTY THING & CO.
Madaline is an American living in one of my favorite cities, Rome. Her Italian adventures have me dreaming of a life in Italy. Check out herer post from her Sunday stroll through the streets of Rome, you will quickly dream of living in Italy as well!

True Colors
Casey is an avid traveler who is currently living in my home state, the beautiful Oregon. This girl has traveled far and wide and has the travel advice and stunning photos to prove it. If you dream of travel and don’t know where to start Casey has you covered with some great tips.
