Boys Behind the Blog

Every month I tell H I am going to interview him for the Boys Behind the Blog linkup and every month I completely forget. I know I am a week late to this link up but I figured its time to put H on the spot so I made a list of questions from all the previous linkups to ask him.

I bring you my boy behind the blog, H.

Boys Behind the Blog

List 3 random facts about yourself…
1. I speak 3 languages. Okay 3 and a half I understand some German.
2. I am a graphic designer
3. My favorite food is burgers

What is your dream job?
H: I want to start my own company
Me: What kind of company?
H: A very successful one
Me: Okay, not a real answer but we will move on to the next question

If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

H:Um( a very long pause )I would be an Eagle because nobody attacks an eagle.
Me: Ha okay
H: Well an Eagle has no enemies. Okay no maybe a Raven, yes a Raven that is more me.
*Fun H fact, his middle name actually means Raven in English. Shocker that he chose a raven as his animal, not.

Who was your first concert?
Foo-Fighters I think

What is one thing you can do better than anyone you know?
H: Designing a kickass birthday card
Me: Okay you are pretty darn good at that
*Check out our anniversary cards he has made me. Each card has special details from things we did together that year. He can be pretty adorable when he wants;)

Cards

What is your favorite candy?
H: Probably Icelandic salty liquorice
*Yes this is a thing, disgusting at first but I am now hooked on the salty black liquorice as well!

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
H: Iceland or Australia
Me: So basically one extreme to the next?
H: Ya, I like to mix it up

You’re cooking a romantic dinner- what is your go-to dish?
H: Well I am assuming I am cooking it for you (pauses to laugh at his hilarious joke, not). Chicken pasta, it never fails and I know you will actually eat it.
*I may be a bit of a picky eater but I do love his pasta!

Your significant other’s blog; a blessing or a curse?
H: A blessing, it has been a great hobby for you and I am glad you have found something that makes you happy, besides me of course
Me: Of course :)

Finish the sentence: This year I will….
H: Travel to a new country. And buy Kaelene a puppy!

Okay I added in that last part but a girl can dream! I would be just fine with having Azora shipped over and even though H may deny it he secretly loves her just as much:)

H and Azora

Question of the Day?
Your turn, chose some questions from above and leave your answer in the comments!

Those are awesome cards! I do not think Fredrik has ever given me a card or if he has I have forgotten!!! I am also impressed you will eat the salty licorice, I can have like one bite and then I cannot do it. Have you had the liquor that is like that?

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

It took me a bit before I could get over the taste but now I am hooked! The liquor though, not so much!

  • http://confuzzledom.wordpress.com/ bevchen

Ugh, salty liquroice! I’m not even that keen on the normal kind :-/

I would love to make Jan do this, but he doesn’t even read my blog so…

    • http://letins-asv.blogspot.com/ Daina

Doesn’t matter that he doesn’t read your blog…just tell him your faithful readers are dying to find out more about him! ;-)

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I don’t let H read my blog but it is still fun to make them do the interviews!

  • http://tidethatleft.blogspot.co.uk/ Amy @ the tide that left

I love your new profile pic, by the way.

It’s always great seeing the boys behind the blog. Since the puppy thing is in writing I think he should do it. Doesn;t matter that he didn’t say it, does it?

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

Thanks Amy:) I think this is an excellent idea, if its in writing its official right:)

  • http://www.rhymeandribbons.com/ Amanda

Those are kickass cards! I love them! And i think both of our boys should buy us puppies this year :) x

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I think both our boys have one month to get our puppies ready with their birthday bows!

  • http://djseaward.tumblr.com/ Cynthia

It was fun to “meet” H… I love that you are wearing what appears to be a full-body leopard onesie in the 3 Year card. (And um… those cards are amazing. Does he do this professionally? If not, he should)

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

Ha yes it is actually a onesie pj set that I love and got this year for Christmas. He doesn’t do this professionally but he is a graphic designer so he is pretty creative:)

  • http://bristolinmypocket.blogspot.co.uk/ Sara Rose

Yay! I love reading these posts! Those cards are awesome!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

      Thank you!

  • http://www.chicadeedee.com/ Dannielle @ Chic-a-DeeDee

I want a puppy too! Adam won’t play this game with me anymore, he lasted one month. Salty liquorice sounds so strange, I don’t even like normal liquorice so don’t think it would be for me!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I always forget to ask H the questions but he wasn’t willing to answer several of the questions so he cheated by choosing which ones to answer!

  • http://www.gutenblogyall.com/ Margo

This is so cute. I love his indecision about which animal he’d be, I feel like Dan would do that same… like it’s real alternative.

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

Ha it was like I had asked him the most difficult question or something lol.

  • http://voyageofthemeemee.com/ Amanda MeeMee

Hahaha… “pauses to laugh at his hilarious joke, not” hahaha!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

Haha he thinks he is pretty funny.

  • notbeforemytea

i love this! he sounds like a clown, in a very good way. and especially that he wants to be a raven. me too.

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

He is a big goof! Makes things more fun when you can be silly!

  • http://www.adeecodedlife.com/ Dee

It’s always fun to read these boys behind the blog posts and get to know the bloggers’ partners. Love the pic of him with Azora. They both look so cute.

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

Thanks Dee:) He secretly loves Azora as much as I do.

  • http://sophieinclogs.com Sophie

Those cards are awesome!! Major props to H :) Also - the Dutch also love salty liquorice but, much as I try to like it, I just can’t. What’s your secret??!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

It took me a bit but I love the salty liquorice now. Having it with chocolate together is so good!

  • http://letins-asv.blogspot.com/ Daina

Wow, the cards are amazing! Too many men can barely buy a card, much less make one!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I am really lucky with the cards he makes me:)

  • http://heleneinbetween.com/ Helene

i want to start my own company too! but I certainly do not know three languages…

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

If I could even master a second language I would be happy!

  • http://www.tothedayslikethis.com/ Sammy Dorn

Haha I love that he said ‘a successful company’ Love that he said Australia. I like H :)

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I think our next move needs to be down to Australia!

  • Rachel Murphree

Hehe, H sounds like a lot of fun. I am working on trying to get my man to buy me a puppy too… :)

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence

I think a puppy sounds like the perfect addition to our families!

ha yeah iceland and australia seem pretty opposite. good luck getting a puppy!!

    • http://unlockingkiki.com/ Kaelene Spence
