Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in early 2012, a few weeks after graduating college while on the job hunt. It was pretty exhausting (and boring) applying for jobs all day, so to give myself a break and to de-stress, I decided to start a blog. It’s definitely been a lot harder to keep up with since I work full-time, but I love it!
Tell me more about life in Florida? What is your favorite way to spend the day in the beautiful Florida sunshine?
It’s good! I’m only a short drive from Orlando, so I often make trips over to the theme parks (Universal and Disney) on the weekend. There are a lot of cool events that come through Tampa, so it’s always fun to venture out for them too! I turn into a lobster (burn) pretty quickly, so for the most part I prefer indoor activities that involve the air conditioning :)

You recently got back from a trip to Europe, what were the highlights of that trip for you?
All of it! It was my first trip to Europe and my mom and I went to London and Brussels. The architecture was so beautiful over there and it was Christmastime (my favorite!!) and everything was lit up. I’d probably have to say the waffles in Brussels were a big highlight for me. I’ve never tasted anything so good!

Anywhere else you have visited that you absolutely loved?
Last year I visited Park City, Utah and attended the Sundance Film Festival which was an incredible experience! I went skiing for the first time, woke up to beautiful mountain views, and got to see a lot of indie movies + celebs! Also, Napa Valley! AMAZING all around.

Where is on list for your next trip?
All the places! I have a couple trip’s up to NYC planned this year, but I’m still trying to figure out dates for some other adventures. I’m targeting a trip to Portland in the fall and Germany at Christmastime! Fingers crossed it works out!
You are pretty tech savvy, any must have gadgets this season?
Thank you! I’m really into my Jawbone fitness tracker, it helps keep me active and healthy! I’m also a huge Apple fan, so I’m kind of geeking out over the new Watch and Macbook coming out, but the price tags are a bit high. Might have to wait a bit before splurging on those!
What is your favorite post you have written recently?
It’s probably a 3-way tie between My First Sledding Adventure and London Adventures (Part One and Part Two). The first because in my 24 years, I’d never been sledding before and it was such a fun experience for me! Plus, I went with my boyfriend who grew up with lots of snowy winters, so he was able to show me the ropes! And London Adventures because writing the posts was like reliving the trip all over again! I put a lot of effort into planning and making the most out of the time we had in the city, so hopefully my day-by-day breakdown is helpful to others planning a visit to London too!
Anything exciting coming up soon you want to share with us?
I’m teaming up with Peanuts (Charlie Brown/Snoopy) this year, gearing up for the new Peanuts movie coming out this fall so I have a lot of cool giveaways I’m doing with them over the next few months, so keep an eye out!
