Merry Christmas Eve!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your friends and family!
I am currently back home for the holidays with the Viking and am loving every minute! Before I take a blogging break for the rest of the week I wanted to share a little of what H and I have been up to this past week in America.
This past week I
…unwillingly participated in Christmas craft night
Crafts are just not my thing, but my mom, she loves crafts. Of course Christmas for her wouldn’t be complete until she created some new Christmas craft project. This year it was the name tags for the dinner table. Lucky for her H loves craft time.

…decorated the Christmas tree
Over the years my mom has collected quite the assortment of ornaments us girls have made. Of course these beautiful ornaments are not displayed on the Christmas tree but instead on the mini tree that is dedicated completely to our childhood ornaments.

It is always a good laugh when you hang ornaments that have pictures of your 5 year old self pasted to them. This is a tradition my family has done every year but this year was the first year boyfriends have gotten to hang an ornament on the tree!
And the tree decorating fun ended with Azora deciding that decorating the Christmas tree called for a family photo. She is one smart dog.

…painted a masterpiece
Contradicting my I do not like crafts statement this painting party was an absolute blast. Put a mimosa in my hand and I am all about craft time.

My mom is the best and planned a party with all my girlfriends so I could see everyone at the same time. These painting parties are such a great time and it is true, anyone can paint. There will be a whole post about this event later, stay tuned!

…baked Christmas treats

Okay so technically I didn’t bake any Christmas treats, my mom and Grandma where in charge of that. I designated myself as the taste tester and on my breaks I was sure to sneak in some play time with Azora.

…searched for the best Christmas lights display
Azora and I weren’t too impressed this year. I think the winning light display goes to my house, then again I am a bit biased.

…watched H create a piece of art

Give H the task of making a small little Christmas drawing on the chalkboard and he will deliver a piece of art. My mom was so impressed she has taken pictures and shown everyone ha. Azora on the other hand, she is not to impressed. She doesn’t like it when something other than her gets attention.

This past week has been wonderful! Sushi dates, shopping, spending time with my family and friends, I am one happy girl!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Eat lots of delicious food, lounge around and fully enjoy your loved ones!
