Happy New Years, I hope you all had a fun and safe night! My 2014 started off with a bang, I have a feeling this is going to be a very good year.
I have heard how fun new years is in Iceland so I was more than excited to finally get to experience it for myself. Even better was getting to ring in the new year with H by my side after 3 years of celebrating apart.
My night included a delicious lobster dinner, card games and wine, a firework show that I will never forget and dancing the rest of the night away with H at one of the coolest parties I have ever been to.
My attempt to capture the spectacular firework show from last night. We watched them from the middle of the city so you could see fireworks everywhere you looked. Spending NYE in Reykjavik needs to be added to your bucket list, its amazing!

By far the best new years I have had and I am looking forward to what 2014 has in store!

Hope everyone had a wonderful NYE, here’s to a great 2014! Next week Travel Wednesday will continue with my last post about Australia :)
Question of the Day?
How did you celebrate your new years?
