For several years I have had the opportunity to work with dozens of clients on planning their Iceland trips using my insider knowledge of the country. I have experience in planning everything from a camping trip around the country, short day trips from Reykjavik, hiking adventures, and exploring the ring road with kids (I recently did this with my 8-month-old and 3-year-old, I have lots of tips!).

The Logistics
When we start working together on your customized itinerary I always start by discussing the basic wants/needs of my clients. I will send you a list of questions to answer with things such as:
*What are you interested in seeing in Iceland (i.e. certain locations, types of nature)
*Types of tours you want to try
*Regions of Iceland you will be visiting
*Activities on your Iceland bucket list, such as hiking or visiting hot springs
*Your travel style: do you enjoy adventure travel, slower-paced travel, budget-friendly or is this a splurge trip?
Based on the information you give me I will create an itinerary for your requested number of days around your preferences. This will include an hourly breakdown of things to do to give you an idea of how to schedule things, all the information you need to know about each stop, google maps that can be downloaded, recommendations for where to eat and accommodation options, and all the insider tips I can share.
All customized itineraries come with unlimited email contact before and during your trip to ensure things go smoothly and any last-minute questions or changes can quickly be addressed. Note, I do not provide any flight, accommodation, or tour booking service, but happy to provide any advice/recommendations on the options.
