Music is coming from all around you, people are walking on stilts and dressed in the most elaborate costumes you have eve seen. You just ordered food from a tree house and got caught in the middle of a dancing parade. Welcome to the Oregon Country Fair!
Every summer for one magical week a field of trees outside of Eugene is turned into a festival celebrating all the good things in life. Food, music, dancing, celebrating whoever you are and just having a great time. People from all over the country come to this festival that has been going on for 44 years and it is something everyone needs to experience in their lifetime. 
Beautiful handmade crafts and delicious food are all around you in booths that are literally tree houses.
The costumes you will see are amazing, some of the most beautiful and elaborate costumes I have ever seen!
No matter where you look at the Oregon Country Fair you can find a performance of some kind. There are several stages set up throughout the festival as well as people performing anywhere they can find some space.
Everyone is in the best mood at the fair, walking around smiling and dancing its a true celebration of living life to its fullest! Colorful costumes, dancing Flamingos and crazy hair, it all goes at the Oregon Country Fair!
H and I went to the Oregon Country Fair last year and had a great time. At first I don’t think H knew what to think about the chaos happening around him but by the end of it he was converted into a Oregonian and had a blast. I am already bummed I won’t be able to go back this year.
No matter what you do at the Oregon Country Fair you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience. You even have live music while you walk to the parking lot, the party never stops!
