Hey everyone! Today I am headed off to Amsterdam for a long Easter weekend with H and his twin brother. Which means I am going to be saying “twinning” all weekend in the Dam:) Just kidding, but not really, I am sure it is going to happen a few times. Anyways, I will be updating Instagram along the way so be sure to head over and follow along to keep up with our adventures!
And speaking of Instagram….
The other day I was thinking. When I travel I take hundreds of pictures, but then I only deem one or two Instagram worthy. I am not sure what makes certain pictures the Insta winner but going back through my Instagram feed is like looking back at my favorite moments from my trips these past few years.
So lets take a trip down Kaelene travel memory lane shall we. And I am talking way back to the first few pictures I ever posted on Instagram!
My first date with the Eiffel Tower
I mean Instagram worthy moment for sure right! Nothing like spotting the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night for the first time!
Sampling the fine wines of Tuscany
If I was Mary Poppins and could jump inside pictures this is most definitely the one I would chose! Drinking wine in Tuscany, it was as dreamy as it sounds.
A surprise trip to Capri
I love this picture, and not because it is of the beautiful Capri, but because it reminds me that sometimes travel doesn’t always turn out how you had planned. Capri was never on our agenda but when we arrived in Naples we knew we needed to get out of the hectic city that completely overwhelmed us. Insert in Capri, and all was saved on our trip.
Girl meets Greek ruins
And it was absolutely amazing! I just love Greece and hope to make it back there again one day.
Greece the beauty
I just have to throw in another picture of Greece. Seriously, if it isn’t already add Greece to you travel bucket list now!
Those Croatia blues
I mean swoon! I may have to use my Mary Poppins powers to jump into this picture as well. Croatia you were a gem.
And for the last throwback picture of the day….
Where my travel story began
I still miss the views of the Sydney harbor! So glad I got to start my travel adventures in such a gorgeous place.
I just love Instagram don’t you guys?!
Question of the Day?
How do you chose what pictures to post on Instagram? What are your Easter weekend plans?
