Hey all!
Happy Friday! We did it, we survived the first week back after the holidays.
You would think I would be full of energy and ready to go go go this past week after two weeks of Christmas holiday spent doing nothing but relaxing…WRONG!
This week has been crazy busy and totally kicked my butt. I was so tired the other night that I sat watching a tv show and didn’t even realize the screen had frozen until H walked into the room a few minutes later and said something. So ya, I am ready for a relaxing weekend.
Exhaustion and all it always feels good to get back into a routine, I am such a creature of habit. I am hoping that now that the holiday chaos has died down some weekend adventures can make there way back into our routine as well. I need some adventures to liven up these dark winter days!

Speaking of weekend adventures, the Viking and I did kick manage to fit in one quick adventure during our Christmas holiday. It was quick, and absolutely freezing outside, but we did manage to leave our house for a few minutes so I am counting it.

We kicked off the new year with a walk around the Reykjavik botanical gardens, which is currently covered in snow, so I am not really sure if it still counts as a botanical garden?? For a gray January day though the gardens were looking quite magical.

While the Viking and I took in the fresh air and attempted to get in some vitamin D (the lack of sunshine made this difficult) we talked about our goals for the new year, travel plans for 2016, and basically everything we hoped the year would bring our way. I love the start of a new year with so many exciting plans and goals to look forward to!
One of my biggest goals for 2016, continue growing the community around my blog.
Last year brought some amazing things my way thanks to my little blog. I made friends from all over the world, got to meet a few of these friends here in Iceland, and had opportunities come my way I never thought possible. Needless to say my blog is an important part of my life and continuing to grow this space of mine is a top goal for 2016.
And with that the time has come. It’s blog survey time!

Super exciting I know, clearly I am pumped in the picture above just thinking about writing this survey on my walk. But really I would so appreciate it if you took a few minutes to fill out the survey, you all are what make this space what it is and your input is very important for me. And stick around there is a bonus at at the end of the post I promise.
