Hi my name is Kaelene and I am obsessed with Instagram. Like I can’t pick up my phone to check the time without checking Instagram first obsessed. But since I am filling my feed with beautiful pictures that spark my wanderlust I am going to keep this healthy obsession of mine and keep on Instagramming away!
With all that time spent on Instagram I have discovered some real gems of accounts to follow, including some awesome Iceland Instagrammers. I have many of these IG accounts below to thank for the beautiful places I have visited in Iceland. It is thanks to their accounts that I have discovered these places, such as the smoking hot Krýsuvík, and get to have my own Instagram worthy adventure.

I have her Instagram account to thank for my recent trip to the Secret Lagoon, a place I never had heard of until I saw it pop up on her IG. With a blog full of amazing travel tips and a Instagram feed packed with pretty pictures around Reykjavik she is one account you will want to follow.

From beautiful shots of the Icelandic architecture to simple daily life moments in Iceland this account has me hooked, and looking at the buildings around town in a more appreciative way!

I recently discovered Ofelia Frisk’s Instagram account and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Just looking at his gallery makes me feel like I am on some grand Icelandic road trip. If you are planning a trip around Iceland this account will get you more than excited on what is to come.

Árni Víđir Hjartarson runs one of Iceland’s most popular Instagram accounts and with a quick glance at his gallery you will see why. His pictures from all over Iceland are breathtaking, but my favorites are the ones that include his adorable dog Neró.
